Dustin also grew up in Durban South Africa. His two main loves in life are Golf and fishing. Dustin qualified as a golfing professional and spent 8 years teaching and working on courses throughout South Africa. Dustin moved to the USA three years ago and has been working on yachts ever since. Dustin has the patience of a saint and is the perfect person to teach you any water sport.
Megan grew up on the coast in Durban, South Africa. She studied Psychology and English at Stellenbosch university. Megan has a remarkable way with children and loves to create and entertain. Megan loves to travel and meet new people and is one of the friendliest crew you will ever meet. Although new to the industry her commitment and passion for service will exceed any guest expectations.
Tawny was born in Cape Town, South Africa. Being on the coast her whole life Tawny grew to love the ocean. While studying fashion design in Cape town she worked in the hospitality industry and found her talent for people and customer service. Combined these two attributes lead her to move overseas and start a career in yachting. She has been in the industry for over 5 years and has worked on many well renowned charter and private yachts in Europe, USA and the Caribbean. Tawny will make you feel special and pampered throughout your cruise.
Mai is originally from the Phillipines. After Graduating college she began working as a ground stewardess for a local airline and developed a desire for travel. Securing a position as Cruise ship casino dealer, Mai began to see the world. After leaving the cruise ships, Mai joined a yacht in France for several years which allowed her to converse in French. After this she moved to Boston where she worked as an assistant housekeeping manager for a while in a renowned hotel. The travel bug and desire to be on the ocean forced Mai to return to Yachting in 2006 where she has been ever since.
Coming from New Zealand Lachlan joined yachting in 2012 originally joining a crew as a chef on a large sail yacht. After a few years in the galley Locky decided he wanted to be outside and joined the deck department. Locky joined us in April 2017 after departing the 85m Oceanco Seven Seas. Locky is a true outdoors man often searching out the best surf breaks around the world.
Van is Impusive’s Engineer he came over to to work on yachts after his family’s Lion taming business failed when the lions ate one to many of patrons. Van has been onboard Impulsive for going on 3 years and keeps the boat running smoothly. When not at work van can be found working on his own family fishing boat and relaxing at Rose Island.
Originally hailing from Durban, South Africa Maxine joined the yachting industry in 2013 after completing her business and psychology degree at the university of Cape Town. Maxine has been a chief stew for 3 years now, working on many well known high class charter yachts such as M/Y Touch and M/Y Waku. Max is a true water baby and is often found surfing or kite surfing when the wind is pumping.
Growing up in Australia and Bermuda Paul spent most of his youth on the water sailing competitively taking part in some of the biggest sailing regattas in the world. In 2002 Paul joined the yachting industry as a Bosun on a 50m Perini Navi sailing yacht and decided yachting is where he wanted to be. Working hard over the next few years Paul got his first captains position in 2007 and has been the captain on many different yachts from the 130’ Westport Redemption to the 155’ Perini Navi sailing yacht Heios. When Paul isn’t at work he is still out on the water Spearfishing and when the wind is blowing kite surfing.
